Terms and Conditions for Collection and Delivery Services

 

1. Service Overview

 

FurniFlip provides collection and delivery services for furniture and preloved goods. These services are offered subject to the terms and conditions outlined below. By using our services, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Booking and Confirmation

​

  • All collection and delivery requests must be booked in advance through our website, phone, or email.

  • A confirmation of the booking, including date, time, and cost, will be sent to the customer.

  • Changes to bookings must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance and may incur additional charges.

3. Fees and Payment

​

  • Full payment for collection and delivery services must be made prior to the scheduled date unless otherwise agreed.

  • Any additional costs, such as parking permits or congestion charges, will be the responsibility of the customer.

  • Late payment or non-payment may result in delays or cancellation of the service.

4. Customer Responsibilities

​

  • Customers must ensure that items are properly packed and ready for collection at the agreed time.

  • Access to the property for collection and delivery must be safe, clear, and free of obstructions.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform FurniFlip of any restrictions, such as narrow doorways, stairs, or limited parking, prior to booking.

5. Item Condition and Liability

​

  • FurniFlip is not liable for damage to items that are improperly packed or fragile unless the damage is caused by our negligence.

  • Customers are encouraged to inspect items upon delivery. Any claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

  • FurniFlip does not transport hazardous materials, perishable goods, or valuables such as jewellery or cash.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

​

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled collection or delivery will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a 50% charge of the total service cost.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations on the day of service or if the customer fails to provide access or is unavailable.

 

7. Delay Charges

​

  • If delays occur due to the customer’s actions (e.g., unprepared items or restricted access), additional charges may apply at £35/hour + VAT per team member.

8. Force Majeure

​

  • FurniFlip is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather, traffic disruptions, or other emergencies.

9. Right to Refuse Service

​

  • FurniFlip reserves the right to refuse collection or delivery if the items or property conditions pose a safety risk to our team.

 

10. Governing Law

​

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in these regions.
